We are the people behind Brite Recruitment. We spend every day working hard to find you your perfect job/candidate.

Name: Karen Pollard

Job Title: Director

Background: Karen began her career in Recruitment as a consultant for a high street agency in 1991, soon progressing into managerial roles. She ran her own recruitment businesses from 2000, founding Brite Recruitment in 2006. Karen takes an active role and recruits for vacancies across a broad spectrum of industries including Executive Appointments and Director roles.  On top of this she manages a busy team, and establishes and maintains excellent key Client relationships.

Passions: When not running Brite Recruitment, Karen is still running! She is an avid member of a local running club and regularly runs Half Marathons and Marathons. Aside from running, Karen is passionate about travel; she has visited a Yoga Ashram in India, attended a Boot Camp in Mexico, and travelled to Uganda to participate in charity work.

Name: Rhia Leitch

Job Title: Account Director

Background: As a Psychology graduate, Rhia joined Brite in a trainee position towards the end of 2011. She advanced to Account Manager status and was then promoted to Senior Account Manager within 18 months. Now an Account Director, Rhia is responsible for vacancies across the board; including sales, customer service and senior management roles within key accounts. She has completed a course in headhunting.

Passions: Before Rhia began her career in recruitment she worked within Managerial roles in Fashion Retail and retains a great interest in current trends and styling. She likes to keep up to date with fashion from season to season. Aside from this, Rhia enjoys spending time with her family, especially her young nephew.

Name: Yasmin Gun

Job Title: Account Manager

Background: Yasmin joined Brite in 2016 as a Sociology graduate, shortly after completing her degree. During her time at the University of Birmingham, Yasmin co-founded the University’s first Sociology Society which, after numerous successful events, went on to win a University Guild award for Outstanding New Society. Yasmin is enjoying the start of her career in Recruitment with Brite, interacting with different candidates and helping them shape their career – whatever that might be!

Passions: Outside of work, Yasmin likes to spend her time with her friends and family, walking her Springer Spaniel Alfie and going to the gym. She also enjoys following beauty and fashion trends and occasionally updates her own blog.  Asides from this, she has a great interest in photography and enjoys travelling to new places whenever she can!

Name: Charlotte Haines 

Job Title: Account Manager

Background: Having graduated in English Language, Charlotte is the newest member to the Brite team. She is passionate about helping people to achieve their best and is really enjoying liaising with candidates for exciting career opportunities. You’ll always find Charlotte with a smile on her face!

Passions: During her spare time, Charlotte enjoys playing a range of instruments including the guitar, piano and ukulele. She loves to travel, from meeting elephants in Sri Lanka to adventures in the Caribbean and skiing in Europe.

Name: Sophie Harris

Job Title: Account Manager

Background: Sophie started at Brite in a Junior Administrator role in 2011, having just completed her A-Levels. She soon progressed to Office Manager and from July 2016 she turned her hand to Account Management. Sophie is responsible for the whole recruitment process; conducting interviews and liaising with both candidates and clients on a daily basis. Sophie recruits for vacancies across the board including; Customer Service, Administration and Management. She is really enjoying her new role!

Sophie still continues to help run the office and completes the Payroll of Temporary staff as well as wages and accounting duties. 

Passions:As well as her full-time position at Brite, Sophie keeps up a Saturday job at Boots where she enjoys the face to face interaction with customers. She is passionate about exercise and is currently a member of the gym. She also enjoys watching football (supporting Chelsea Football Club), spending time with friends and family, and is currently taking German Classes at Gloucestershire College.

Name: Elly Holliday 

Job Title: Marketing and Resourcing Administrator

Background: Elly started at Brite in summer 2017, having graduated in English Literature. During her time at University she played Netball and Women’s rugby and played in their annual Varsity game every year of her studies. She was the team’s social-secretary and was in control of the club’s social media pages, these skills she has transferred to her time at Brite whilst managing the social media here. She helps the team with administrative duties and resourcing candidates for clients and potential roles. 

Passions: Elly enjoys doing sports, primarily playing Rugby which she started during her time at University. She is lucky to have been able to play at the Millennium stadium with her Uni team and is looking to continue her passion and join a Women’s rugby team in Cheltenham. As well spending time in Cheltenham, she often travels to Oxford where she grew up to catch up with friends and family members. Having attended a University near the beach, she enjoys body boarding and numerous (failed) attempts to surf!
