Our Client, a global organisation within the technology and consultancy sector is currently seeking an Apprenticeship Training Officer to join their dynamic team on a full time, permanent basis in Luton. The suitable candidate will be responsible for playing a critical role to support the provision of the Modern Apprenticeship Programme in Luton and occasionally on other sites in England.


Duties and Responsibilities include:
•Managing and maintaining learner data and records
•Assessing learner performance against relevant frameworks and standards 
•Developing a learning culture and environment that supports the development of Apprentices skills, knowledge and careers
•Coordinating all Apprentice plans, ensuring Apprenticeships are of the highest quality and that all Apprentices receive appropriate training and support
•Monitoring, assessing and verifying competencies and learner performance against recognised awarding body/regulatory standards
•Working closely with third party providers to co-ordinate college assessment and monitor Apprentice attendance, progress and performance
•Managing and maintaining learner data and tracking progress
•Providing line management for the Apprentice attendance, progress and performance, including undertaking 12-weekly reviews and managing disciplinary/capability situations
•Personally providing coaching and development on a one-to-one basis
•Supporting Apprentice recruitment by attending recruitment activities and events and undertaking candidate assessment and interviews
•Planning, organising and facilitating the Apprentice induction programme


Skills and experience:
•Proven experience in the design and delivery of training programmes
•Previous experience of Apprentice programme delivery across UK is desirable but not essential
•Sound knowledge of Apprenticeship framework requirements 
•NVQ/SVQ Level 3 Learning and Development or equivalent would be ideal but is not essential
•A1 Assessor qualifications award or D Units (D32, D33) ideal
•V1 Verifier qualifications (D34) ideal
•Good level of IT literacy – including MS Office suite 
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Coaching experience ideal
