Up to £40,000 + company benefits

Our Client, a leading organisation within the technology and consultancy sector is currently seeking a Payroll Manager to join their dynamic team on a full time, permanent basis in Peterborough. You would take responsibility for leading the shared service centre delivery team to provide excellent and quality service to all clients.
The suitable candidate will ensure the business meets its agreed objectives in both service delivery and strategic growth. Duties and Responsibilities include:
•Contributing to the achievement of Delivery Centres’ objectives in line with outsourcing strategic business objectives
•Reviewing team performance to ensure effective and efficient delivery of service
•Leading and motivating the team to ensure KPIs are exceeded consistently 
•Conducting regular coaching and individual development 
•Ensuring attrition of trained employees is kept to a minimum
•Identifying underperformance issues and utilising the appropriate tools to address them
•Managing the training plans for the department
•Driving continuous improvement 
•Effectively managing budget/P&L 
•Escalating business critical service issues to Senior Management team
•Ensuring compliance to statutory and internal audit requirements
•Managing the service review process and attending meetings where needed
•Managing the retention of clients
•Ensuring all staff are commercially aware and client contracts are effectively financially managed
•High level management of new client implementations to the shared service centre

Skills and experience:
•Previous HR/Payroll and shared service centre experience
•CIPD qualification desirable
•Working knowledge of Prince2 Project Management methodology
•Previous experience in an outsourced or commercial service delivery environment 
•Extensive experience of managing complex and high-volume teams
•Previous experience of team objective setting
•Experience of performance management 
•Business and financial awareness 
•Customer care experience
•Risk Management
•Quality and audit experience  
•Influencing/negotiating skills
