With a temporary position, you are limited to work until a certain period. It could be 6 weeks, it could be 12 months, it will all depend on the contract. Temporary employment is also known as ‘Contract' or ‘Freelance'. It could mean working for as little as an hour a day or for 36+ hours a week. The real difference between permanent and temporary positions is that you have a definite end date for your employment period.
Many of our candidates have become permanent from their initial temporary contracts and have gone on to develop their careers from that first step on the ladder.
