Considering a Career in Recruitment?!

Some may say Recruitment is not for the faint hearted!  My answer to this is it very much depends where you work!  Having worked in the Recruitment Industry personally for over 28 years I may be a little biased, but I can honestly say it has been a fabulous career choice for me!

There are of course many different types of Recruitment roles – whether you work within a Recruitment Agency or in an Internal Recruitment role for a specific business. If you work within an agency environment you could specialise in a particular industry sector, dedicate your time to placing people in permanent roles, Temporary positions, or work specifically placing contractors.

Brite Recruitment is based in Cheltenham, Montpellier. Founded by myself in 2006, we work in partnership with some brilliant Clients across the UK and Europe. We currently have a number of roles, including Account Manager/Recruiter as well as a Digital Marketing Executive.

Many people are put off by the industry due to excessive daily call targets and unrealistic monthly revenue targets. Of course there are targets, but at Brite they are realistic! There are no daily call targets!  Most of the time you will work with established, long term clients across a full range of roles and industry sectors.  As an Account Manager you will undertake the full 360 recruitment role.  Sourcing and interviewing candidates, taking job briefs, advertising roles, meeting clients and building long term relationships.  There are many ‘highs’, there is nothing better than finding a candidate their ideal job, it really is very satisfying. Placing that tricky role and gaining lots of repeat business from Clients having given great service.

At Brite Recruitment we are all about exceeding customer expectations.  Without quality candidates and good Clients, recruitment stops.  We are extremely passionate about what we do and we do the job well.  If you are new to the industry, we will provide full training. Ideal candidates will be of Graduate calibre, be excellent communicators, self motivated and good team players. You will need to enjoy working in a fast paced changing environment, be able to multi task and have an aptitude to learn quickly. 

Within the Digital Marketing role you would be responsible for the company’s digital presence.  We are looking for someone with previous Digital Marketing experience, whether that be within the workplace or as a Marketing Graduate looking for your first role. Taking a proactive approach to our marketing is key, advertising vacancies and overseeing the recruitment database are all key areas of responsibility.
