Name: Karen Pollard 

Job Title: Director

Background: Karen has worked within the Recruitment industry for pretty much the entirety of her career. Initially working in Consultancy and Managerial roles for a commercial high street agency before setting up her own business in the year 2000, and subsequently founded Brite Recruitment in 2006.

With 27 years experience (where has the time gone), Karen takes an active role in running and working in the business.  She is passionate about giving great service, seeing her fabulous team grow and develop and still gets a real buzz out of what she does even after all these years! 

Passions: An avid runner Karen is a member of 3 running clubs, has completed many marathons in the UK and abroad as well as half marathons and Ultra’s.  It is fair to say Karen likes running rather a lot. When not running she also cycles and has completed a number of long distance races in the alps.  When not exercising Karen can be found working on her property project or trying to keep her 3 Beagles under control!

Name: Rhia Leitch (currently on maternity leave)

Job Title: Account Director

Background: As a Psychology graduate, Rhia joined Brite in a trainee position towards the end of 2011. She advanced to Account Manager status and was then promoted to Senior Account Manager within 18 months. Now an Account Director, Rhia is responsible for vacancies across the board; including sales, customer service and senior management roles within key accounts as well as leading and developing the Brite team daily. She has completed a course in headhunting and is passionate about providing the best service possible to both clients and candidates alike. 

Passions: Before Rhia began her career in recruitment she worked within Managerial roles in Fashion Retail and retains a great interest in current trends/styles. Aside from this, Rhia enjoys spending time with her friends and family and is a not so secret Harry Potter fan!

Name: Sophie Harris

Job Title: Operations Director

Background: Sophie started at Brite in a Junior Administrator role in 2011, having just completed her A-Levels. She soon progressed to Office Manager and from July 2016 she turned her hand to Account Management. Since then Sophie has continued to progress and from July 2018, she was promoted to Senior Account Manager and from February 2019 she was promoted to Operations Director. Sophie is responsible for the whole recruitment process; as well as leading and developing the Brite team daily. Sophie recruits for vacancies across the board including; Customer Service, Administration, Languages, IT and Management.

Sophie still continues to help run the office and completes the wages and accounting duties.

Passions: Sophie is passionate about exercise and is currently a member of DW Cheltenham and has a Personal Training session once a week. She also enjoys watching football (supporting Chelsea Football Club) and spending time with friends and family.

Name:  Megan Thomas

Job Title: Account Manager

Background: Megan has lots of experience dealing with clients and ensuring they get the best service. We knew she was going to be a great member of the team from the very start. With her excellent work ethic and ability to thrive under pressure, Megan is the perfect Account Manager.

Passions: Megan likes to spend time with her friends and family. She loves cooking dinner for everyone - although it doesn’t always go to plan, and she sometimes ends up ordering a take-away! She also enjoys going to live music events and in her downtime you’ll find her walking her Boston Terrier or curled up with a packet of biscuits.

Name: Kelsey Salvatore

Job Title: Digital Marketing & Database Coordinator

Background: Kelsey joined the Brite team at the beginning of 2019. After completing her A-Levels Kelsey became a Digital Marketing Apprentice. It was at this job where she developed her digital marketing skills and knowledge. With her desire for a new challenge, Kelsey decided to move from her hometown Stoke and now lives in walking distance from our Cheltenham office. Kelsey manages Brite’s social media accounts and handles our website while also helping with other administrative duties.

Passions: Kelsey enjoys exploring new places to eat and drink which she has to counterbalance with regular exercise. She loves spending time with friends and family but sometimes just wants to curl up with a good book (and her cat).
