Collections Administrator
Burton on Trent 
Salary: Up to £24,000 + bonus and benefits 

Our Client, a FTSE 250 listed company within the Finance and Banking Sector, is currently seeking an experienced Collections Administrator to join their team in Burton on Trent on a full time, permanent basis. The role would involve assisting the Collections Manager and team by collecting overdue accounts. 
The ideal candidate will have experience in collections and negotiation, possess excellent communication skills and demonstrate the highest levels of professionalism when dealing with customers. Furthermore, you will be highly organised and efficient with a strong work ethic.

Duties and Responsibilities include:
•Collecting overdue accounts 
•Corresponding daily with customers both verbally and in writing 
•Advising and regularly updating relevant internal teams 
•Complying with all current legislation
•Rescheduling customer agreements when appropriate and agreed
•Maintaining up to date records
•Administration of direct debits
•Preparing reports when required
•Liaising with external third parties

Skills and Experience
Collections/credit control experience essential 
•Educated to GCSE standard (Maths and English C or above)
•Bright, engaging personality and a strong work ethic 
•Highly organised 
•Self motivated 
•Strong interpersonal skills
•Ability to make decisions confidently 
•Strong written and oral communication skills
•Confident telephone manner
•Computer Literate – Proficient in Excel and Word
•Strong problem solving skills
