We have a great opportunity for a bright, confident and proactive individual to work as a Customer Operations Executive in London on a full-time, temporary basis. Our client is a leading company within the finance and banking sector providing a wealth of bespoke services. They are an FTSE 250 listed business and are registered on the London Stock Exchange.

As a Customer Operations Executive, you will ensure the onboarding of retail and corporate customers is in accordance with departmental procedures and within agreed SLAs.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating and maintaining customer records in the Data Management system
  • Completing due diligence on new and existing customers in accordance with the department’s onboarding procedure
  • Processing ongoing account requests ensuring that customer instructions are acted upon efficiently and work is completed to agreed standards
  • Executing customer maturity instructions upon expiration of a fixed deposit term
  • Representing the department when required in user testing changes to applications and systems
  • Maintaining a customer-focused mindset ensuring that any correspondence is clear and accurate
  • Ensuring that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required
  • Escalating issues and process gaps where identified to the line manager

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience within the Financial Services sector or within a regulated environment
  • Education: A level qualifications or equivalent
  • Skills: Microsoft Excel and Word Skills, a good understanding of FCA regulation ideal
  • Characteristics: Strong organisation and time management skills, excellent attention to detail and ability to adapt and prioritise a varied workload
