We have a great opportunity for a bright, confident and proactive individual to work as a Customer Service Executive in London on a full-time, temporary basis. Our client is a leading company within the finance and banking sector providing a wealth of bespoke services. They are an FTSE 250 listed business and are registered on the London Stock Exchange.

As a Customer Service Executive, you will always provide excellent service, dealing with high volumes of customer correspondence from both business and personal customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Answering telephone enquiries from both personal and business customers; as well as email and letter correspondence
  • Inputting deals and processing breaks, reversals and amendments
  • Ensuring queries are responded to within the agreed SLA timeframes
  • Maintaining strong knowledge of organisational products whilst being able to learn new products and systems quickly
  • Representing the department when required in User Acceptance Testing, communicating results accordingly
  • Attending meetings where relevant, acting as the departmental Champion on various topics and feeding back outputs
  • Preparing and submitting reports for new customers and reviewing reports for existing customers on an ongoing basis
  • Escalating issues and process gaps where identified and developing a knowledge of the risks posed

Requirements:

  • Experience: Telephone-based customer service experience is essential, and experience in the financial services sector is ideal
  • Education: A level qualifications or equivalent, Maths & English GCSE grade C or above
  • Skills: Outstanding communication skills, proactive attitude, prioritisation skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Characteristics: Computer literate and intermediate Microsoft Office skills
