Media Relations Project Coordinator 
Up to £40,000

Our Client, a leading global communications company is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator who has exposure in the Media/PR industry to join their London operation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and developing relationships with media providers and providing the full sales life cycle. 

Duties Include:
•Researching and monitoring client’s business and industry to maintain a current knowledge base
•Building media relationships and maintaining a network of contacts including journalists, influencers and industry spokespeople
•Performing target identification based on market/industry/competitor research
•Assisting in identifying issues in our current processes and establish solutions by utilising software applications and exploring new options
•Directly responsible for building and regularly updating a distribution network of first-class media
•Participating in media outreach programs to promote the brand and content to journalists and the general public
•Compiling and analysing PR coverage and providing reports
•Monitoring and managing existing newsfeeds and providing support on newsfeed maintenance tasks and projects
•Contributing to daily meetings and liaising/working closely with sales team 
•Handling daily production priorities and support sales and operation team on media/client requests
•Maintaining and preparing appropriate content license agreements for content partners; work with corporate legal counsels to execute legal agreements

Key skills and experiences:
•University degree or commercial experience in the media sector
•A minimum of 2 years’ experience within Project Coordination/Management 
•Basic knowledge of HTML, or an understanding of XML/RSS technologies (ideal)
•Media/PR industry related experience
•Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
•Ability to liaise with clients in a professional manner and maintain high consistency
•Ability to multi task and prioritise when necessary
