Our Client, a leading organisation within the Information Technology and Services sector is currently seeking an experienced Payroll Service Manager to join its team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is a critical role where the successful individual will be accountable for the operation of the shared service team providing payroll and HR administration services to a portfolio of customers. Responsibilities will include;
•Coaching, mentoring and motivating the operational teams to deliver a consistently high level of service to the customer base
•Ensuring customer satisfaction and delivery of contracted services/associated SLAs
•Ensuring the business is meeting budget targets
•Enabling revenue growth through maintaining and expanding customer relationships with new services
•Engaging operational teams during times of organisational change and client pressure
•Optimising the performance and productivity of the teams through the best utilisation of onshore/offshore payroll, HR and Recruitment resources
•Seeking new and better ways of working including process innovation and the use of technology systems
•Anticipating client requirements and ensuring an agreed client plan to ensure retention, growth and commercial viability of contractual relationships
•Ensuring all compliance and quality standards are maintained
Skills and Experience Required
•Proven experience in a management capacity in an outsourced business environment
•Proven extensive experience in a Payroll or HR related business function
•Strong customer service and client management experience
•A proven track record in the successful delivery of business change
•Ability to engage with employees and internal/external stakeholders
•Capability to multi-task and determine priorities
•Ability to deal with competing conflicts, improve quality, reduce costs and drive up margins
•Ability to work collaboratively with offshore teams
This is a full-time, permanent role working Monday-Friday, 9am – 5.30pm.
