Our client, a leading organisation within the Information Technology and Services sector is currently seeking an experienced Service Centre Manager to join its team in Birmingham on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is a critical role where the successful individual will be accountable for the operation of the shared service team providing payroll and HR administration services to a portfolio of customers.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Coaching, mentoring and motivating the operational teams to deliver a consistently high level of service to the customer base
  • Ensuring the business is meeting budget targets
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction and delivery of contracted services/associated SLAs
  • Enabling revenue growth through maintaining and expanding customer relationships with new services
  • Engaging operational teams during times of organisational change and client pressure
  • Optimising the performance and productivity of the teams through the best utilisation of onshore/offshore payroll, HR and Recruitment resources
  • Seeking new and better ways of working including process innovation and the use of technology systems
  • Anticipating client requirements and ensuring an agreed client plan to ensure retention, growth and commercial viability of contractual relationships
  • Ensuring all compliance and quality standards are maintained

Skills & Experience:

  • A proven track record in the successful delivery of business change
  • Proven experience in a management capacity in an outsourced business environment
  • Ability to engage with employees and internal/external stakeholders
  • Ability to work collaboratively with offshore teams
  • Ability to deal with competing conflicts, improve quality, reduce costs and drive up margins
  • Strong customer service and client management experience
  • Capability to multi-task and determine priorities
