5 tools everyone who is looking for a new job should use:

1-Online job boards

Job boards like Indeed, Reed and CV library are great ways to both research and apply for new jobs. You are able to choose your desired location, sector and salary making your job search more specific to your personal skills and qualities. Once you’ve found a role it’s as easy as attaching your CV and “apply now”!
Many job boards also give you the opportunity to upload your CV to your profile and allow it to be “Open to recruiters”. This means recruitment agencies like us at Brite Recruitment are able to find your CV in our searches and resources and can approach you with opportunities you may not have found.

LinkedIn is a great professional network allowing you to connect with colleagues and experts and follow previous and potential companies. It can be a great way to job search as well as see company’s latest updates and stay informed with potential vacancies.
Here at Brite Recruitment we use LinkedIn for job postings, candidate resourcing and social media postings to keep our followers aware of new roles available. So if you haven’t created a LinkedIn profile, we would definitely recommend it!

3-Social media

Facebook and Twitter are great for chatting with friends and sharing photos to keep family and friends up to date with your social life.
Here at Brite Recruitment we often post in local pages/groups designed for jobseekers. So if you are on the look out for a new position, join your local area’s “job seeking” or “noticeboard” page where individuals and recruiters often post about local work. But remember, keep your Facebook profiles private and professional as we do not necessarily want to see your dog’s latest birthday photos!

4-Word of mouth/referrals from friends

Friends and family can also be helpful when looking for new jobs. A friend may have seen a job advert in a shop window or on a job site which may be ideal for you and can send it to you easily.
Here at Brite Recruitment we have a fantastic referral scheme on our site offering vouchers of up to £200 when a candidate is successfully placed in a role! So make sure you are talking to your friends about it and get them to refer you for your perfect role today!

5-Brite Recruitment

Recruitment agencies like us are a fantastic way of finding a new job. We are a small, close-knit team who offer dedication, a personal approach and a genuine interest in your individual needs.
